Cancun Part 3

For our activity, we decided to do one that had a lot of variety. We took a water proof camera for this activity so we are still waiting for a lot of pictures we took that day. Luckily we had a photographer there that took pictures for you and we paid for the CD.

First up was Tulum, some Mayan ruins right on the coast. It was really pretty put so humid!

We saw a lot of Iguanas there. I even sat next to one to get a picture. It was kind of scary because I thought it would attack me at any moment.

My favorite part was when we went to the cenote, an underground river in a cave. We got to snorkel in it and saw some cat fish but mostly looked at cool rocks and formations. The limestone went far down to the water at some parts so we had to make sure not to hit our heads. It water was up to 25 feet deep.

The repelling was the scariest part for me. I thought we would have something to push our feet off of when going down but it was free fall repelling. After I got down into the air it wasn't that bad.

About to go Zip Lining!

You wouldn't know there was bats in the cave because they were in the part where no lights were. We shinned our flashlights on them to see them. Kinda creepy.

This is me really sad because we are leaving. I don't know how much more sun I could take though.

Until next vacation!! :)

Cancun Part 2

This post will be all about the food and drinks!

Mexican Coke is really good. I had to have one everyday.

There was a cafe that had all you can eat ice cream and pastries. My favorite was the chocolate chip. It tastes so different from ice cream here. I think it might be the Mexican vanilla?

This is their Oriental restaurant. It was really good and the environment was really pretty. They had vines covering all the windows and had a huge pond with water running down a wall.

They gave us drinks that looked like pineapple juice because it had chunks of pineapple in it. After drinking half of it we asked what was in it and found out it was white wine. Oops.

They gave us a 'On the House' appetizer. Really small huh? It was peas. Kind of weird.

My appetizer was yummy sushi :) It was cool to order lots of stuff to eat and not have to pay before walking out. It was all you can eat wherever we ate.

Fancy looking dessert called Tres Leches.

They refilled our mini fridge with drinks every day. Gotta love all inclusive.

All the restaurants we had to choose from.

This was the Italian restaurant. Really pretty.

Another 'On the House' small appetizer.

The salad there only came by the leaf,  not chopped up which made it kind of hard to eat.

We had kind of forgotten it was the Christmas season. There was a girl at the restaurant playing the violin.

Chicken Parmesan and lasagna.

They also had a dessert bar in the restaurant.

The cafe :)

I've got to say, all inclusive is the way to go.
