Memorial Day

It was really nice to have the day off this Monday with it being a holiday. That morning Brayden and I took my mom to breakfast at Jeremiahs because we told her we would take her sometime for Mothers Day. We then headed over to watch Britt play in her soccer tournament. She played really good and they ended up winning! Bri and Rawson brought Husker and he got all the girls' attention.

I love how Husker is looking right at the camera

Good job Britt!!

A little later that day, we headed up to Bri and Rawson's and took the ATV's to Avon to ride on the trails up there. It was a beautiful day but a little chilly in the valley, hence the hoodies :)

After we were done riding, Brayden and I had dirt caked on our faces! It was nasty. We wondered why we were the only ones to end up with dirty faces. Oh well, it was still fun!

Our night in Eden

We have a new addition to the family! He is a lab and his name is Husker. Bri and Rawson picked him up in Idaho after our trip to St. George. Once I saw him and held him, I told Brayd that I NEEDED a puppy too. Since we are renting and can't have pets at the moment, I guess going to visit him during the week will fill the void of not having one of my own.

Isn't he so cute?

Bri and Rawson recently moved to Eden to live in their grandparents house while they serve an LDS mission in Nauvoo. It is so beautiful there. Their backyard is just like a campground. We are actually going to bring up our tents and have a camp out next month. Yesterday we came up to have a BBQ and then sit around the fire to have smores. It was a lot of fun. Brayden and I are looking forward to many more nights up there.

Rawson makes some good hamburgers!

View of the house from the backyard

Yeah, this is the backyard. Jealous!

He really liked Brayd's sock

Rawson's parents live right next door and they have a dog named Bear. He came over and Husker LOVES him. He follows him everywhere. All Husker wanted to do was jump on him and bite on him. He would walk away with a mouth full of brown fur every time. Good thing Bear would take it without much of a fight because his mouth is as big as Huskers head. haha You can even see Bear's teeth, they could be deathly if he was a mean dog.

He crashed not too long after.

A little blast from the past. This was taken only last Christmas but I think we look so young! I think this pic is also funny because Brayd's eyes are closed and Rawson isn't paying attention.

Adam's Canyon Hike

Tuesday was my day off so I decided since the weather has been really nice lately, that I should call up one of my best friends and go for a hike! I also couldn't pass up taking Sadie along for the journey. She loved every minute of it. She chased down every lizard she saw and got in the water whenever possible. Its nice to be out in nature every so often.

Lexis and I (She has been one of my best friends all through High School)

The view is so pretty

Sadie loving the water

We gave her a bath after our hike. Her thick coat holds a ton of water! Her hair looked all spiky afterward.

Another wonderful trip to St. George

Going to St. George is such a long drive! Brayden and I drove with his parents for the weekend to take some family pictures and go to the Brian Reagen concert. (Pictures to come) For this last Christmas, my wonderful in-laws gave us tickets to the Brian Reagen concert at the St. George Tuacahn.

The weekend went by so fast but it was fun to get away for the weekend!

Huskies

So I have this obsession with Huskies. I love them. They are so beautiful with their blue eyes and shaggy fur. I have been wanting one my whole life. My parents knew this, but they apparently waited until I was moved out until they got one. This makes me a little upset but I'm glad that I get to see her when I visit. Her name is Sadie and she is ten years old. She is full of energy and very playful. I swear I walk her at least 3 times when I go over on Sunday. I told Brayden that he has to buy me one when we move out of the house we are renting at the moment.

Sadie and her ice blue eyes.

Can you tell that I love her? haha

California Road Trip

We recently went on a road trip with Bri and Rawson. We went to Disneyland, Universal Studios, the beach, and Vegas on the way home. It was so much fun, especially with Bri and Rawson with us.

We ate at Joe's Crab Shack the first night. It was such a rip off! haha We got little food for a lot of money. Oh well it was a fun atmosphere...

We didnt have any bowls for our cereal so we went to Target and got these $1 spiderman pails. They worked out good.

I love this picture in front of the castle. It was a little cold at some points in the day but we still had a ton of fun. I think the fireworks were the best part!

The Tower of Terror, one of the best rides.

There was a Cold Stone right across the street from Disneyland, I was in heaven.

The next day we went to Universal Studios. There was also an outside mall that had some cool stores in it.

This was a candy store we found and they have huge candy. I regret not buying these...

About to go on the movie set tour which included the new 3D King Kong ride.

THE WORST RIDE
It was one of those inside fake roller coaster rides and you wore 3D glasses. It just made us all sick.

I wish we had taken more pictures on this trip. In Vegas we walked the whole Strip and saw some crazy people. We ate dinner on the strip at Hard Rock Cafe. Brayden and I also won 30 dollars playing the penny slots. (You have to gamble at least once in your life) We stayed with Brayden's grandparents in St, George on the way back. It was a much needed trip!

St. George

We went to St. George for the weekend with Brayden's family. It was a blast. I told Brayden that if we could move to St. George, I'd be so happy. I love the sun.

We all fell asleep watching a movie on the bed

Going to Zions Park

We went riding one day with Rawson's (Bri's husband) ATV's and motorcycles.

Best Sister-In-Laws ever :)

We found some cows along our trail.

The next day we went to another park and saw this mini cave.
