Cancun, Mexico Part 1

Cancun, Mexico. What a beautiful place. We flew there from North Carolina and got to stay there for 4 days. We stayed at an All Inclusive Resort and it was the best! When we checked into the hotel, a lady started talking to me in Portuguese because she thought I was Brazilian. I guess I'll take that as a compliment. They also gave us drinks right away.

The view from our room.

We got towel animals every day too.

The guy that was explaining how everything worked gave Brayden this flower and said "Put this flower in your queens hair." I couldn't help put laugh.

You could see the ocean from the pools.

Above is one of the bar's you could go to get drinks. I had a lot of Strawberry Daqaries. I sometimes felt awkward asking for it virgin because so many people were drinking.

The picture above shows the buffet restaurant that we ate at most the time

If you can't tell, the heart says B and A with shells.

The view from the upstairs lobby

It was cool that our hotel wasn't enclosed, you were outside when you walked out of your room.

Brayden's Oakley glasses he got for 15 bucks. Hey, they look real :)

We were in the pool playing basketball everyday. Brayden's favorite.

We watched them set up a wedding on the beach next to our resort.

My first body sunburn. I really don't ever get sunburned and if I do, it's only my face. This picture doesn't do it justice. It was bad and very painful. I still have a big 'V' on my chest.

The infinity pool was really pretty. It had a swim up bar and chairs in the pool.

The weather was in the 80's everyday and the ocean was warmer than the pools. Everything was perfect!

It feels like Christmas now

Brayden and I got to spend a whole Saturday together today. This rarely happens! We went to the movies and then went to lunch. The rest of the day we put up all our Christmas decor. This will be our 4th Christmas together and I haven't taken pictures of our set up process before. So get ready for a picture over load! :)

We got my parents old Christmas tree when we got married and this thing has been around since I was little. You have to fluff each little tree branch and put them on one by one.

The lights are next!

While Brayden was doing the lights, I decided to start on our Willow Tree nativity set.

All done! Yes, that is Moroni the Angel on the top of our tree :)

We don't have a fireplace so our stockings go up on our door.

Listening to Christmas music :)

This Christmas Elf has been mine since I was a baby and Brayden thinks it's creepy. I guess I can see why he would think that. I just don't have the heart to get rid of it, I've had it for so long. Here are some of our ornaments:

Brayden's beloved BYU

Brayden's grandpa gave us this one when we were dating.

This one my parent's gave us for our first Christmas together.

We are all ready for Christmas at this household!

Christmas is coming!

This means that our trip to Cancun is getting closer and closer! The day before Thanksgiving, we put up our christams lights :) We would have waited to do them the weekend after, but Brayden didn't want to risk the weather being crappy. The day we put them up was perfect weather. Not too cold at all.

Good job Brayden! Next is all the indoor stuff. I love having our Christmas tree up! Pictures to come of all our indoor decor :)
