A month before June, Brayden and I talked about waiting to get married until maybe the following year so that we could save some money. He told me this so that I wouldn't see the proposal coming. (This worked) I was invited to go with him and his family to Lake Powell for a week. Little did I know there was a ring coming too.

On the last morning of our vacation, Brayden took me for a little hike up the rocks above where our houseboat was.
Here I am, clueless...
When we arrived to the top, I noticed some writing on the rocks. As I got closer, I noticed it said "Will you marry me?" written in chalk. I turned to Brayden and said "Oh look, someone else is getting proposed to out here." ( We had seen another one written on some wood the other day when we were out swimming) Then I got closer and noticed my name was written right above it. Shocked, I turned to look at Brayden and he was down on one knee and then popped the question. I remember all I could say was "Are you serious?" over and over again. He's like, "So is that a yes?" I told him it was and I put an "X" in the box for yes.
A few minutes later his family came up the rock to meet us and congratulate us. I was sad I couldn't get good service to call and text everyone the good news but that was one of the best days I have had.
