It feels like Christmas now

Brayden and I got to spend a whole Saturday together today. This rarely happens! We went to the movies and then went to lunch. The rest of the day we put up all our Christmas decor. This will be our 4th Christmas together and I haven't taken pictures of our set up process before. So get ready for a picture over load! :)

We got my parents old Christmas tree when we got married and this thing has been around since I was little. You have to fluff each little tree branch and put them on one by one.

The lights are next!

While Brayden was doing the lights, I decided to start on our Willow Tree nativity set.

All done! Yes, that is Moroni the Angel on the top of our tree :)

We don't have a fireplace so our stockings go up on our door.

Listening to Christmas music :)

This Christmas Elf has been mine since I was a baby and Brayden thinks it's creepy. I guess I can see why he would think that. I just don't have the heart to get rid of it, I've had it for so long. Here are some of our ornaments:

Brayden's beloved BYU

Brayden's grandpa gave us this one when we were dating.

This one my parent's gave us for our first Christmas together.

We are all ready for Christmas at this household!

Christmas is coming!

This means that our trip to Cancun is getting closer and closer! The day before Thanksgiving, we put up our christams lights :) We would have waited to do them the weekend after, but Brayden didn't want to risk the weather being crappy. The day we put them up was perfect weather. Not too cold at all.

Good job Brayden! Next is all the indoor stuff. I love having our Christmas tree up! Pictures to come of all our indoor decor :)

So as I was searching Pinterest for new recipes to try and I came upon this one for spaghetti night. I don't think I will make it the old way again, it was so yummy! Introducing the Braided Spaghetti Bread!
