Marriage

I often am reminded how lucky am I to have Brayden as my husband. He puts up with my weirdness and short comings. He does so much for me and I honestly don't think I could survive without him. He is my best friend and my rock. The other night I came across a quote and decided to put it on one of our wedding pictures:

I love this little saying. From the start, Brayden has always told me that divorce will never be an option for us. I love him for thinking this way. This quote reminds me that marriage is something worth fighting for and I will protect mine forever :)

First Day of the Year

We spent the first day of the year playing in the snow with family. I had so many layers on, I looked like a marshmallow. We took lots of pictures though :)

Bri was trying to get Husker to sit with her on the sled but he only stayed there for a second.

We would throw up snow and the dogs would try to get the snow in their mouths.

Bear would run right along with the ATV's.

Sisters :)

Brayden's snow mask. Kinda creepy.

Brayden's mom.

Me pulling Brayd on the sled.

It's so pretty up in Eden.

Disposable Camera

Brayden and I brought a disposable water proof camera to take on our excursion so that we could take pictures without having to worry about our camera. We also thought it would be cool to take pictures under water in the cave. The quality isn't that great and all the pics we took under water were black. So much for a 'water proof' camera. .

Repelling

I was so scared to jump off but once in the air, I was fine.

Great view from the top of the Zip Line.

At one of the flee markets. I took this picture because the masks reminded me of Nacho Libre :)

At Tulum beach.

We saw a lot of Iguanas at the ruins. Most would look like they were about to attack. I saw a guy sit literally right next to this iguana and it didn't move at all. I decided I would do the same but was kind of nervous so this is as close as I got.

Tulum Ruins.

This was one Iguana that looked like he was going to attack because every time I got a little closer to him to get his picture, he would move closer to me really fast.

This used to be where the Mayans got their water. It was a little cave that used to have fresh water.

Tiny doorway. Our tour guide said it wasn't because they were midgets, but because they had to bow to get into other's homes so that it would show you were humble.

Can't really tell here but this is a picture of two Iguana's we saw in the jungle.

We had someone take our picture while we were in the ocean.
These didn't turn out like I hoped they would, but I guess that's what you get with a cheap disposable camera.

The best of 2012

March:

Went on a road trip to California with Bri and Rawson. We went to Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Huntington / New Port Beach. My dad grew up going to those beaches everyday. It was a fun time :)

April:

I got put into the Young Women's :) I gained a lot of friends from this big change.

May:

Went to St. George for the weekend and got family pictures done before kids started to come.

June:

I received my Diploma in the mail! It felt good to get that out of the way.

Brayden also got an internship with ATK. W

July:

Went to my first girl's camp as a leader!

August:

We found out Bri was pregnant :) We are so happy for her. Later found out it's a girl.

September:

Our 2nd Anniversary! We went up to Park City for the weekend and went to dinner with Bri and Rawson a night because they were there celebrating their 1st anniversary. We also got our camera this month. One of my pictures from this trip made it to the news!

October:

Brayden quit America First Credit Union and got a job at MarketStar. Brayden also surprised me with Carrie Underwood tickets. One of the best concerts I've been to.

December:

We went to Cancun, Mexico! This is probably the highlight of the year for me. My first time out of the country and I loved it.

We also got to help out a family for Christmas this year. It was a very humbling experience for me.

Also we did our Christmas tradition of spending the night in Salt Lake City and going to dinner with Brayden's family.

We have been very blessed this year and are so grateful for all that we have.
